Fishing, Hunting and Blueberries

Sleeping in a berry Patch. There were so many berries up on the Steese that they were like blankets in the fields.

We went four wheeling to find a moose. Saw a couple, but didn't get a good shot. We did get a couple Ptarmigan though. They were delicious. Clayten just slept the whole time on the four wheeler. Caleb had him in the pack.

Anchor Point ~ Hunting

My mom Clayten and I went to visit Anchor point while Caleb and Jordan went Sheep hunting. This is my favorite book store. It's an absolute mess, but it's still really cool. This is in Homer. The owner still seems to know where every book is. There are some books there that are really old.

Interesting Visitor

See who came to visit us. Isn't he beautiful (Spotted or Barred it's welcome on our property). I don't know enough about owls to know what kind he is. He visits us about once every year, at least since we've lived here.

He wasn't too interested at first.

Strange Foods - Interesting Taste Buds

So Clayten isn't eating solids yet, but he knows what food is and always wants a taste. The interesting part is the foods he's like so far. Pickles - Lemon - and V8(spicy hot kind). I don't know why, maybe he's just fascinated with any food, but he doesn't mind spicy or sour foods. I let him suck on the edge of a lemon I had just juiced, he made the cutest "pucker" face, but that didn't seem to bother him.

Grandma bought him a walker at a yard sale, it's the only toy that doesn't get dull quickly.

My sister is up for the summer, and is having a blast with him. She still can't believe I'm a mama. She's a wonderful Aunty.

Just an update

This is what Caleb made me for Mothers Day. It was pretty hard getting a squirmy little guy to hold his feet still.

Chena Lakes here we come. Hope he likes the water. You can't see it but underneath the life vest is a wet suit. Hope it keeps him warm. At least he likes it.

 I'm convinced baby's don't need "baby toys", they'll like anything you give them. Notice his "baby toy" is laying beside him, he wasn't interested in it.
